Day 1-3 – New Orleans, Louisiana
After your journey from Ireland, you will arrive in the incredible city of New Orleans where your exciting holiday will be begin. Your time in New Orleans will be jam-packed with great music and great food. While there, be sure to visit Jackson Square, Aquarium of the Americas, The National WWII Museum and the St. Louis Cathedral. Another highlight for all who visit New Orleans is the French Quarter which is home to incredible architecture and the world famous Bourbon Street which is the must visit spot for nightlife.
Day 4 – Pensacola, Florida
After your time in NOLA, you will depart for Pensacola Florida which is home to some of Florida’s top ranking beaches. On arrival, check into your hotel and head for the beach to relax in the sun and to take a break from driving. En-route to Pensacola, why not stop off in Mobile, Alabama for a bite to eat and to visit the beautiful Bellingrath Gardens and Home.
Day 5 - Pensacola, Florida
Today is all about relaxing and enjoying the Florida sunshine! Enjoy breakfast by the sea, experience the stunning beach areas and sample the local watersports. Pensacola is the perfect place for some fun in the sun!
Day 6 - Pensacola, Florida
Today, we recommend your explore Pensacola’s historic downtown. Founded by Spain in 1559, Pensacola was the first European settlement in the USA and throughout the downtown area, you will find charming stores, galleries, museums and nightlife. Pensacola is a very walkable city and there are many fantastic guided walking tours that you can enjoy while there.
Day 7 – Pensacola, Florida
Today we recommend you visit Pensacola’s Naval Air Station (NAS Pensacola) which is one of the largest air and space museums in the world. Admission to the National Naval Aviation Museum is free and at the museum you will also get to enjoy the Naval Aviation Memorial Giant Screen Theatre which shows five movies daily (additional charge). This exciting attraction in Pensacola is perfect for families as well as air and space enthusiasts.
Day 9 – Montgomery, Alabama
After your fabulous few days in the Florida sunshine, you’ll head back across the state line into Alabama, where you will visit Montgomery. Montgomery is the capital of Alabama and this fascinating city is packed with history. If you’re a Country Music fan, we recommend you stop at the Hank Williams Museum and Grave.
Day 10 – Atlanta, Georgia
After your night in Montgomery, you will make your way to your final stop, Atlanta, Georgia! Atlanta is a fantastic city that’s home to some amazing attractions including CNN World, the World of Coca-Cola and the Georgia Aquarium.
Day 11 – Ireland
Today you will make your way back home to Ireland where you will land the following morning.
