Orlando to Miami Train

Brightline unveiled its Orlando Station on April 20th at the Orlando International Airport. Starting next month, tickets for the new train will be available for purchase with prices starting at $79 for a one-way trip. Family bundles for four will be less than $200 each way. The exact start date of the train route has not been disclosed yet but the company have indicated that trips will begin this summer.

The new station is located right next to Terminal C at the Orlando International Airport, making it extremely convenient for families with young kids and tired travellers to find and use. You can purchase tickets inside the station at a desk or through one of the self-serve kiosks. The train station also features a bar that offers cocktails and finger food, as well as a convenience store.

The non-stop trains between Miami and Orlando will take two hours and 59 minutes with 16 daily round trips and hourly departures. For the Orlando to Miami route, regular service will be available with stops at all Brightline stations including West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale and Aventura. This route will take a total of 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Weekday schedules will have hourly southbound departures from Orlando to Miami beginning at 5 a.m. until 8:50 p.m. The first southbound train will arrive in Miami at 8:30 a.m. There will also be hourly northbound departures from Miami to Orlando starting at 6:50 a.m. until 9:45 p.m., with the first northbound train arriving in Orlando at 10:15 a.m.

On weekends, there will be hourly southbound departures from Orlando to Miami starting at 5 a.m. until 8:50 p.m. The first southbound train will arrive in Miami at 8:30 a.m. There will also be hourly northbound departures from Miami to Orlando starting at 5:45 a.m. until 9:45 p.m., with the first northbound train arriving in Orlando at 9:15 a.m.

Brightline also has dedicated trains that will serve the South Florida region between Miami and West Palm Beach. The early morning departure will be at 5 a.m. from West Palm Beach with evening night departures until 12:45 a.m. out of Miami.

The high-speed trains will operate at speeds up to 125 mph, making Brightline the fastest train operating in Florida and one of the fastest in the country.
