PIER 60
Pier 60 is an iconic landmark in Clearwater. With a nightly celebration, this pier is the perfect place to head after a day soaking up the wonderful Florida sunshine! Along Pier 60 you can expect to see musicians, performers, artists and more. All of these interesting characters gather every evening for the daily festival to watch the breathtaking Clearwater sunset so we recommend you make sure to head to Pier 60 for that!
CLEARWATER MARINE AQUARIUM
Clearwater Marine Aquarium is perfect for families and makes for a lovely afternoon out. Here you can visit Winter the Dolphin from the movie A Dolphin’s Tale. Here you can learn all about Winter’s incredible journey and you can even have your own dolphin encounter!
DALI MUSUEM
In Downtown St Petersburg, head to the Waterfront Arts District and visit the Museum of Fine Arts as well as the world famous Dali Museum. This museum is home to the most comprehensive collection of the Spanish surrealist’s work outside of Spain.
HIT THE WATER!
St. Pete/Clearwater is surrounded by waterways so it’s the perfect place to get out on the water. Why not get closer to nature and rent a canoe or kayak or even a paddle board and glide through the peaceful mangrove trails. If you like something a bit faster, then hire a jet ski from John’s Pass Village! There are also options to go parasailing and to have a go at Jetlev’s where you can fly 30 feet above the water with a futuristic jetpack strapped to your back!
DISCOVER THE NEIGHBORHOODS
Beyond the beaches there are 26 very diverse communities that make up the St. Pete/Clearwater area. Why not rent a bike or car and explore these communities. Some of our favorites include Tarpon Springs, a cute Greektown famous for sponge fishing and beautiful Greek food. Dunedin is of Scottish influence so why not head here to witness the Highland Games! In Dunedin you will also find the famous Dunedin Brewery which is a must for craft beer lovers.
