The Henry Ford American Museum of Innovation located just outside of Detroit is a wonderful museum which highlights how past innovations will fuel the imagination of generations to come. Step into the bus where Rosa Parks took a stand by taking a seat, explore America’s culture, inventions and spirit through hands on experiences or play pilot throughout the flight innovations exhibition. On the same site of this insightful museum is the Ford Rouge Factory Tour, another must see attraction.
SLEEPING BEARS NATIONAL LAKESHORE – LEELANAU & BENZIE COUNTIES
Sleeping Bears is home to the most impressive sand dunes in the state of Michigan and at their highest point, they rise 450 feet about the lake. Throughout this amazing region, you will find over 70,000 acres of land to explore which are home to miles of sandy beaches, lush forests and amazing lakeside views.
