Shopping in Memphis

In Memphis not all of the shopping opportunities are within reach of each other. They are spread out, but you’ll find a world of different options in each shopping district.

The Laurelwood Shopping Center is the most up scale in town, which offers a few high-end stores and lots of nice chain stores to choose from. The Shops of Saddle Creek have all the latest trendy brand name stores and a few locally owned boutique stores and restaurants.

The South Main Historic Arts District is described by locals as “a bite of the Big Apple with a dash of Southern hospitality”. You’ll find some of the city’s most famous restaurants and bars such as Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken and Ernestine’s & Hazel’s in this area.
