CHICAGOM

Chicago and its surrounding suburbs are known for being a great shopping destination. The northern end of the Magnificent Mile is where you’ll find the exclusive Oak Street boasting famous stores such as Vera Wang, Juicy Couture and Barneys New York.

If you’re a Macy’s lover then head to State Street where you’ll find the department store housed in a landmark 1850s building. It is the world’s second largest department store and is spread over 12 floors. Out in the suburb of Schaumburg, you’ll find Woodfield Mall, which is one of the United States largest shopping malls and houses more than 200 stores.

Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora, with 120 designer outlet stores offering big discounts on clothing and accessories by Converse, Tommy Hilfiger, Reebok and more.

GALENA

If you visit Galena, don’t miss out on the historic downtown shopping area. There are so many charming shops scattered around the nearby villages. Galena’s Main Street is where you’ll find art galleries, antique stores and eclectic boutiques.

For unique, one of a kind handmade crafts and gifts made by local Galena artists head to Dream Catcher on Main Street. Definitely worth picking up a few souvenirs to bring home.

White Oaks Mall has just what you need! White Oaks Mall is a two story indoor regional shopping center located at Veterans Parkway and Wabash Ave, just a short distance from I-72. White Oaks Mall offers more than 115 specialty stores ranging from jewelry to children’s apparel, sporting goods, restaurants and women’s apparel including Hollister Co, Yankee Candle Co and American Eagle.
