Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Travel Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of our Core travel destinations, travel products, and sales strategies. They will be responsible for selling holidays and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills, and a passion for travel. The Role is full time, based in our store in Milltown, Dublin 6 and located 7 minutes’ walk from the Luas line.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Management
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed company targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential markets to expand the customer base.
- Ensure that we are effectively promoting travel packages, deals, and services to customers.
- Customer Service
- Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring you provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Product Knowledge
- Stay updated on the latest travel industry trends, products, and services.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the travel industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Skills & Competencies
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using GDS systems (Amadeus)
- Ability to analyse sales data and develop effective strategies.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
