Illinois is an exciting destination and many of it’s cities, towns and fly drive stops have many things to do and see.

CHICAGO

Every journey begins somewhere, and the journey to discover the real North America, begins in the vibrant city of Chicago. Chicago is the ultimate American City. Classed as one of the most walkable cities in the United States, you can explore block after block of the stunning architecture that gives Chicago it’s distinct skyline. You can spend you day exploring world renowned museums, indulging in endless shopping and in the evening you can dine in award winning restaurants before heading off to enjoy live music in the the venues that keep Chicago jumping at night.

ROSEMONT

Rosemont is a village in Cook County and is famous for being one of the best Fashion Outlets in Chicago, featuring all the best American designer brands. The Village of Rosemont has created a thriving mecca of tourism, entertainment and convention and trade-show business, attracting visitors from around the world. Conveniently located five minutes from O’Hare Airport and twenty minutes from Chicago’s downtown, the entertainment suburb hosts an average 75,000 visitors a day. In the evening you can explore the new entertainment district and MB Financial Park. Here you can dance to live country music or raise a margarita at a Mexican cantina.

ROCKFORD

Only 85 miles northwest of Chicago lies the must see area of Rockford. Visiting Rockford, known to be the original City of Gardens and rivers, is a chance to discover a completely different side to Illinois. Be sure to explore all of the fascinating sights such as the Anderson Japanese Gardens, considered to be one of the most majestic Japanese Gardens outside of Japan. SPRINGFIELD

Springfield, the state’s capital city, is otherwise known as the land of Lincoln. Located along the iconic Route 66, Springfield has become a popular stop off for tourists driving the famous Mother Road. This region was once the stomping ground of President Abraham Lincoln. Relive his remarkable legacy as you explore everything from his Springfield home and law office to the impressive Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum. Experience mile after mile of Americana along a stretch of Route 66 dotted with classic diners, drive-ins, and odd roadside attractions.

GALENA

Also just a three-hour drive from Chicago, sits the beautiful town of Galena, a charming river town seemingly frozen in time. Amidst the wineries, horse-drawn carriage rides and quaint bed and breakfasts, you will discover how easy it is to reconnect in a place where life slows down.
