Experienced Travel Expert / Sales Supervisor
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Travel Expert / Sales Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of our Core travel destinations, travel products, and sales strategies. They will be responsible for selling holidays themselves as well as supervising the sales team, driving sales targets, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for travel. The Role is full time, based in our Office In Milltown and located 7 minutes walk from the Luas line.
Key Responsibilities

Supervision & Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage the travel sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team knowledge and skills in travel products and sales techniques.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team, providing constructive feedback and implementing improvement plans when necessary.

Sales Management
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed company targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential markets to expand the customer base.
- Ensure that the team is effectively promoting travel packages, deals, and services to customers.

Customer Service
- Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring that all team members provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Handle complex customer inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve service delivery.

Operational Duties
- Oversee the daily operations of the sales office, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., marketing, finance) to ensure alignment and support of sales initiatives.

Product Knowledge
- Stay updated on the latest travel industry trends, products, and services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with travel suppliers and partners.
- Ensure the team is knowledgeable about current travel offerings, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications

Education & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the travel industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using GDS systems (Amadeus)
- Ability to analyze sales data and develop effective strategies.
