Epcot was busy with the opening of Frozen Ever After, Soarin’ Around the World and Royal Summerhus! Walt Disney World is a foodie paradise and this Autumn sees the opening of PizzaRizzo, the Muppets themed restaurant in Hollywood Studios! Not only that, but Disney Springs is jam packed full of new eateries and retailers. From the new Frontera Cocina and Homecoming restaurants to Lacoste, Free People and Sugarboo & Co. Levi’s Store, you’ll be spoilt for choice at Disney Springs.
If you are in Orlando between September and November, Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival is not to be missed! This mouthwatering event will celebrate global cuisine with culinary events and seminars with celebrity chefs, musical acts, marketplaces and more. If you are in Orlando for the first weekend of September, then make sure you don’t miss the Great Irish Hooley at Walt Disney World! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party returns to Magic Kingdom for trick or treating, Disney characters in spooky costume, special Halloween themed parades, shows, fireworks and more! This is the perfect event for all ages.
If you’re looking for Halloween celebrations for grown ups only, make your way down to Club Villain at Disney’s Hollywood Studios this October. Dance the night away every Friday and Saturday with extra villainous special guests, food, drink and spectacular performances!
Once Halloween is over, it’s time to think about chestnuts on an open fire, mistletoe and all things Christmas! There is so much going on in Walt Disney World around Christmas time you’ll be full of Christmas cheer from Thanksgiving to New Years! One of the most popular events is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. This Magic Kingdom event runs from November and will have holiday themed fireworks, shows and parades!
The Christmas magic doesn’t end in Magic Kingdom. Epcot has a seasonal celebration for the whole family! Holidays Around the World & The Candlelight Processional brings Christmas cheer to each pavilion in the World Showcase. Enjoy festive music in the America Gardens Theatre and learn different holiday customs from around the world.
Disney Channel’s favourite princess has found a new home in Magic Kingdom. Starting this month, Princess Elena of Avalor, will join the rest of the Disney Princesses to share stories and songs from her Latin inspired culture. Elena will be in Magic Kingdom for a limited time only so this Autumn and Winter is the best time to see her!
On October 1st, Magic Kingdom will be celebrating its 45th birthday! Be in the park that started it all for birthday celebrations! There will be plenty of retro merchandise that celebrates the history of Magic Kingdom since its opening in 1971. Choose from trading pins, pajamas, mugs, bags and much more to bring home.
